Ths would be helpful for Neo4j as well, we could use it give the user the option to store embedded properties as properties instead of embedded nodes

Maybe you could open a new issue for that and begin with this one? That appears to be a real error (comparing it with the output created for MongoDB), so this should be fixed first.
