While I agree I'd prefer to not see the UI for releasing I think it's still an important consideration. As I keep mentioning, BinTray gives the capability to have a nice single URL we can point to for a release showing all of the artifacts published for that release- that's not possible with Nexus.

Plus in BinTray that release page has all kinds of good info for users
