Environment:	Any env using tomcat dbcp2 8.5.45+ (commons dbcp) with hibernate core 5.7.12.FINAL against a mssql 2012.

Some connection pools silently ignore AbstractMethodError and returns null. That is the case in the latest commons dbcp (tomcat dbcp2).
