Following HSEARCH-2235 In Progress , we allow users to configure multiple hosts and use them in turns (load-balancing). This is handled automatically by Jest.

Jest, however, does not handle failover. If we want to implement it, we'll have to either do it ourselves in JestClient or to contribute a patch.
