Martin I think you are right as far as Enterprise OSGi is concerned. Only hibernate-entitymanager needs to be defined. But I think for certain that at least hibernate-core and hibernate-envers also should be defined as OSGi bundles. The other modules are probably fine to not define as OSGi bundles (as I understand it) considering they are not intended for direct application consumption.
