It would be awesome if there is a out-of-the-box solution for OpenSearch Serverless.

“Out-of-the-box” won’t cut it, as Hibernate Search needs to be told what it’s supposed to connect to. That will have to be a configuration option, and so far I’d be inclined to just have an option for request signing.

Annotation: It seems to be more than just making the singingName configurable.

Can you explain what you mean by this?

We’ll probably need to add integration tests if we want to be sure Hibernate Search works with AOSS, but I’d appreciate insights if you have any.
