Almost yes, but it refers just to the class of the resulting instance(s) which refers to the context of entities written in the main class documentation of the EntityManager.
In contrast the QueryProducer part here which explicitly states java type which refers not only to e.g. entities but scalar types too like Long, BigDecimal etc. .
So maybe its worth, think about it.

Supporting scalar results in native queries would be of cause the icing on the cake.
