In the current service implementation (and in fact in the old ServiceProvider as well) there is clear distinction between post construction (something which IMO happens right after instantiating a service) and starting a service (which might happen later). So I think the we have the right terminology here, but maybe that's anyways what you are saying as well given the current impl.
