Have you tried one of the methods described in the Bytecode EnhancementGuide at https://docs.jboss.org/hibernate/orm/5.0/topical/html/bytecode/BytecodeEnhancement.html ?

If it's still a problem, please create a pull request with a test added to org.hibernate.test.bytecode.enhancement package or attach a runnable test case that reproduces your issue.
