@Brett Meyer, the pull request at https://github.com/hibernate/hibernate-orm/pull/1368 has two commits.

The [first commit](https://github.com/hibernate/hibernate-orm/pull/1368/commits/ae148014585230bf4244660d603aa3e7e036359d) alters the existing tests to remove the dynamic package import and add static imports for the necessary packages. This breaks all of the tests.

The [second commit](https://github.com/hibernate/hibernate-orm/pull/1368/commits/b04761a83ab8b4a7a0fc819f34eec90f299cea6a) contains a proposed fix for class proxying that fixes some, but not all of the tests. For some reason the rest of the "plugin" type tests silently fail without the dynamic import. I'm hoping that it will be relatively quick work to find for someone with Hibernate debugging skills
