That helps indeed. I got it working in a test case by adding a system property that changed the rules Set building. That works, and more importantly didn't break other unit tests. When I get the configuration done I'll pull that system property out.
I have the configuration down to ValidatorFactoryImpl but was getting stuck there. Thanks for the direction, I'll let you know when I have something.
