Tried it today with 5.2.3-SNAPSHOT of both hibernate and the enhance plugin. Still doesn't work. Will try to make a test case today or tomorrow.

BTW shapshot releases of hibernate and the enhance plugin are available from this repo https://repository.jboss.org/nexus/content/repositories/public-jboss/
All you need to start using it is add that same repo twice, first as an ordinary repository and then as a plugin repository.
