I hacked a change here https://github.com/scottmarlow/hibernate-orm/tree/4.1_HHH-7544_differentFixForVerifyError that now passes the AS7 testsuite but not sure if its enough to address the original HHH-7544 testcase.
Can someone attach the HHH-7544 testcase to this jira, so I can try it?
If the use case is important, it would be good to get it into the Hibernate testsuite (perhaps by cloning one of the existing tests to get started).
