Ahh, there is a difficulty here.. Services are lazily built at the moment when they are first needed (first requested). That happens when we find a ServiceBinding by role where the service impl is not yet bound. That may not happen in the case initially brought up by Sanne since the "real role" is not the one being used.

Maybe we need a way to tell the registry to initialize its services up front. In Search, Sanne could then force the up-front initialization and then this plan would work as-is.
