As OpenJDK doesn't produce a binary themselves, we may consider to do it ourselves. A starting point would be the current stable version 3.1. To be really beneficial though, we'll need a Maven plug-in exposing the functionality.

It'd be beneficial to have a discussion with the the NetBeans team, whether they'd be willing our SigTest binary in the plugin they provide, replacing their current fork.
