I don't understand how EntityManager#find throwing an exception "causes IronJacamar to throw" an exception.

Not sure I agree that the spec requires that, though. So to me, not sure this is worth changing unless it was handled differently before 5.3. Which is possible -its possible that we missed some of the #find exception handling branch for transaction-related errors when merging EntityManager into Session
