Honestly, the main reason is that I even had not the time to update Hibernate 4.3 to 5.3... So this is not related to any Hibernate Search specific issue. Basically, I will use a whole sprint to just migrate Hibernate, Hibernate Search, Spring and Spring Security to the latest versions.
