Hum that's an interesting idea.

I was thinking that if we go beyond just ORM and Infinispan as a source we would need to somehow rehydrate projections and as such this issue would be useful.
But your idea is to consider OGM and its GridDialect system instead. It feels interesting but I'm not sure it would be an easy path. for once we would have to use JPA and its annotations and it would have to be a java class instead of say free-form entities.

So I'd leave this one open but in low key.

Of course if anyone out there feels like he must solve that issue to save the world, we would oblige and help him in his contribution
