I still think it might be useful to add some of the information about writing equals and hashcode methods in the description of this improvement request and written here https://developer.jboss.org/wiki/EqualsAndHashCode to the official hibernate 5 documentation.
Or if it is wrong to explain why it is wrong as others might think similar wrong
