I vote that it might be best to simply shut this issue down now. It has morphed into a general "what's still left to do with Hibernate + OSGi" discussion without much concrete progression. General discussions like this don't really fit well in Jira IMO. I think these type of general discussions fit better on a dev list, which then spawn (or not) specific tasks in Jira.

As it is, I really have no clear understanding what, if anything, is still missing or todo in hibernate-osgi.
