Hibernate doesn't know the difference between app managed versus extended PCs, as there isn't a separate API for creating extended PCs versus app managed PCs. It sounds like there is an IDENTITY generation bug that we don't yet know how to solve with (extended + app managed) PCs that are joined to one-or-more physical transactions.
