Is there any progress on this issue?
The MassIndexer is a nice feature but it's functionality is limiting when put against large indexed data in a production environment where index up-time is crucial for the user community. The only existing solution we have is to create the lucene indexes manually much like Marcel and then do a hot-swap once the indexes are rebuilt.
