Given the problem with Validator#validateValue we are not going to offer this feature. It would lead to constraint implementation which behaves differently depending on the type of validation call. Also, the preferred way for cross field validation is a class level constraint.
We could safely provide access to the root bean type, but at the moment we don't see a use case for that.
