Given that one typically decides to work with one language (hopefully), to me it feels sort of un-DRY to specify the language for each constraint again and again. IMO user code would be more concise with such an option. And if a user wants, she still can specify it (overriding the default setting).
Moving the domain model does require an implementation of the used scripting engine either way. Does having to specify the language over and over again really help that case?
