I reopened this because HHH-6305 was for a very old version of Hibernate and is out of date.

Giovanni Lovato, please create a pull request with an update to org.hibernate.test.annotations.derivedidentities.e1.a.DerivedIdentitySimpleParentIdClassDepTest that reproduces your test. Alternatively, you can attach a runnable test case (see https://github.com/hibernate/hibernate-test-case-templates) that reproduces your issue.
