1. Are you proposing that Hibernate do this in some automagic-fashion? How would Hibernate know about the staleness of all these entities?
2. We have this already today kind of with batch fetching or collections. Not exactly sure what you mean here. Maybe you mean an API call to trigger this rather than implicitly as your app happens to access one of the lazy collections?
