According to this Blog entry, Spring framework 4.3.0 is compatible with Hibernate ORM 5.2.
And it is definitely compatible with Hibernate ORM 5.1.x as well (we use Spring framework 4.3.0 together with Hibernate 5.1.0, which works fine).
