Marcel Duggen, several of us on the team have confirmed that our embeddable case runs ok under JDK9 with our test suite. If its still an issue for you, would you be able to provide us a runnable test case from our test templates https://github.com/hibernate/hibernate-test-case-templates so we can see what could be the underlying issue?
