The problem is all non-junior developers know that by installing two plugins a day, Eclipse becomes unusable by the end of the week.
People do not want to install plugins, unless you can explain why they are needed. Much better so, if we could reach the conclusion that they are really not essential and you could prevent that dialog from bothering each and every user attempting the import.
My concern really isn't my own lazyness but the fear of annoying potential contributors during that very delicate first shy moment of "let's see, maybe I can fix this myself in a couple of minutes.... WTF? Mmm... no I'd rather not risk screwing up my whole dev environment.. I guess I'll wait for a fix to come".
@gunnar.morling yes I could do that, but I'd rather exclude anything which is not essential. Not sure yet what is essential?
