org.hibernate.boot.internal.SessionFactoryOptionsImpl#releaseResourcesOnCloseEnable is always false. In the constructor org.hibernate.boot.internal.SessionFactoryOptionsImpl#SessionFactoryOptionsImpl all other fields are initialized from SessionFactoryOptionsState but releaseResourcesOnCloseEnable. Thus the "hibernate.ejb.discard_pc_on_close" is ever ignored.
