Changing the scope of these two beans to javax.enterprise.context.Dependent makes the tests indeed pass. I am just wondering what this means in terms of creation/destruction of these beans. Would that not imply that these instances get re-created each time a new EJB call is made? I wonder though which of the CDI existing CDI scopes would otherwise make sense here?
