What is the problem with bootstrapping BV here? I thought everything works as expected as of WF 8.0.0.Beta1?

TBH, I don't know. I just know the test is not passing. So we need to review the test, make sure that it runs as we expect and if it does we need to figure out why it does not meet our expectations. As you say, I was under the assumption that with Wildfly Beta 1 it would work. Then again, Scott closed WFLY-409 which is imo a requirement for this to work. I also need to check with the JPA spec once more.

Either way, something is fishy and this is the placeholder to figure out what is going on. Could be we just need to re-write or remove the test.
