Validator resolution fails if a constraint which has a validator for the array type of a wrapper type (e.g. Integer[]) is given on an array of the corresponding primitive array type (e.g. int[]).

As per 4.6.4 "... arrays of primitive types are considered equivalent to arrays of their wrapper classes ... [during validator resolution]".
