I guess could thoretically ban you from the project? But that’s not the intent so this really looks like a usability / experience bug that Atlassian should fix across their projects.

I’m sorry but please let Atlassian know, the way all these user accounts are being merged in a centralized way is annoying - I have issues myself with multiple accounts from multiple servers being “merged” into multiple different accounts 😞
