Once we have the spec, ri and tck suite under control, and if we have some runway, we should try and make it simpler for new comers unfamiliar with the toolset.

I am thinking of creating a mega bundle that contains Maven, the Git repos people are expected to clone, etc, as well as maybe a few scripts here and there to limit the numbers of steps.
If we can avoid scripts though, I'd feel better, they are hard to make portable across the gazillion platforms.
