I like the basic idea of making things a little easier but Yoann has a good point about not limiting the parameters we can accept.

Case2 is a nicer way to start things but you'd need to evolve it further by adding an option to accept additional "free" parameters?

Also this will need some way to resume / abort/ etc.. the execution? sth might be an easier to use object than the ID but it should at least allow to retrieve it.
