Sanne Grinovero to clarify I understand the difficulty caused by the proliferation of these spec jars (heck we have the same with JPA itself too). But in this case, simply making JTA a non-transitive dependency is not a valid solution for the reason started previously and as indicated by this report. So we'll need to find an alternative solution to the underlying desire in HHH-10178 or revert it.
