Re: ClassCastException with second level cache and entityManager.find(clazz, id) Thanks Guillaume.  I'm finding several other  users  uses  of #getRootEntityName() where  it  they  shouldn't be -- I suspect deleting, updating, etc. are also broken.  Working on additional tests. Add Comment
