I'm already crawling under your PRs trying to get them to pass the integration tests. This filter feature is really secondary. I'm not going to be able to review it and fix it for weeks, so I'd prefer if you focused on work already under way.

If you have time to work on Search, it would be better that you wait until I finally get the multi-valued sort to work, add tests with good coverage and document it. After I merged it, there will probably be a tremendous amount of work for you to rebase your [other PR](https://github.com/hibernate/hibernate-search/pull/2237) and write tests with reasonable coverage.
