So it failed for you locally with JDK 8? AFAICT it works fine with Java 8, but we knew there was an issue with JDK 9. I test is locally with JDK. If the pull request resolves that issue and works for Java 8 and 9 I am going to merge it.

BTW, I prefer to always post relevant stack traces and log statements into the issue itself. First of all, one can read/understand the whole issue without having to open another URL, but there is also the aspect that these resources might become stale. For example the Jenkins build results will regularly be cleaned out. It is nice to have all relevant information in JIRA.
