Let's move it to 4.2 as it would be experimental if developed in a rush.
Still I think someone should work on this sooner to make sure we ask for eventually needed changes in next WildFly and JGroups SPIs or APIs.. if these get frozen and we end up needing a change, that would significantly delay (years?) feasibility of one of the most interesting use cases for OGM.
