Personally I don't really see how the GitHub terms get you to the conclusion of " .. MUST be removed from GitHub", but I'll ask our legal team as my opinion is probably irrelevant (IANAL).

FYI several our repositories are not LGPL licenses so at least your last statement is not accurate.

May I ask to introduce yourself? I'm wondering why you took the time to make this suggestion, and since I've never seen that blog before I'm not particularly inclined to trust the source.
