Scott Marlow: what Steve Ebersole said It doesn't have anything to do with Maven dependencies. If you crack open the jar and look at the manifest, you'll see the OSGi import-packages line. Most packages are optional, but interceptor is currently still required. But again, I'm less concerned about that one since Karaf itself includes the same in its built-in features.
