It's not impossible, but the question is who takes care of the module ZIP update. As said, it's not the logger update but the update to the ORM version which needs to be taken care of. All in all, I prefer a consistent set of dependencies matching the WF version we target. Of course one can also add the new JBL version to the WF 8 module ZIP if that's what one is after.
