Unfortunately, the test case which I posted originally did not reflect our situation.

I have added two new test cases:

• qpvalidation-5.1.5.zip works fine with hibernate 5.1.5
• qpvalidation-5.2.9.zip reflects our problem with hibernate 5.2.9
