I'm tempted to say that we should fix this issue in the next version of OGM, like 5.4.1.Final or something.

This way the other projects have time to fix the problems and we can release 5.4.0.Final

In principle, I don't have any problem using the modules in WildFLy, but using the ones provided by the projects is helpful to spot problems early on.
