I think this really relates to HV-570 and HV-1033. We are aware that in its current form Validator and the Bean Validation bootstrapping might not play nice with OSGi. However, the SPIs defined should allow to plug in OSGi compatible implementations for things like `ValidationProviderResolver` or `TraversableResolver` (HV-1027).

The problem is more that we are not really OSGi specialists and we were hoping that someone from the community with more OSGi experience would step up and provide a pull request. Interested ?

Whatever we do, I think to arrive to a proper OSGi solution several things needs to be looked at (see referenced JIRAs).
