Thanks for the PR, I missed your reply before, but now saw it and will test it today.

I'm thinking a bit how to best do an integration test, something along the lines of Java EE 7 samples where it downloads and unpacks Payara, then patches it with the Hibernate jars to be tested, then runs an actual bean validation test would probably be the most high level thing and relatively easy to set up.
