There are 2 distinct issues:

creating multiple ValidatorFactory: that was the issue of the OP of the Classmate bug you referenced;
HV calling Classmate TypeResolver in a hot path: this is the issue you have and it should be fixed in HV 6.0

That's why I suggested you to upgrade to HV 6.0.
