@Gunnar, Martin had qualified that in his response on the dev mailing list thread. He in fact plans on doing this according to Enterprise OSGi.
@Martin, As I mentioned in my response on dev mailing list we should be working against master, not 4.1 branch and things are quite a bit different on master. I'll do some work this week with cleaning up the org.hibernate.engine.spi package problems. TBH, I am not the best person to solve the envers/tools issue. Lukasz, Max?
